Weather

Increasing clouds and cooler today. Winds were amazingly calm.

Snowpack

Dug a pit near a flank of a slide that occurred on the afternoon of 19th. Aspect is generally W to slightly WSW. The pack was deeply faceted, topped with variable wind slab and a stout surface crust. Trees slowed and "caught" snow while exposed, above treeline areas were thinner and stripped from recent strong northerly winds. The gully feature in this slide was deep and heavily cross loaded.

Avalanche

This slide was previously reported. See ob at http://avalanche.state.co.us/caic/obs/obs_report.php?obs_id=22189
