Weather
Cool north wind flow with minor snow showers that really did not accumulate to much during the day. Would get occasional small sucker holes of blue sky.
Snowpack
12 to 14 inches of new snow, fairly low density, that rested on a very smooth and well frozen old snow surface. Did not probe below this frozen crust. Tried a time or two, but it was pretty firm

Saw one fresh natural Wind Slab under a cornice on steep east aspect terrain just above treeline in Black Gulch on Bald Mtn
