Mostly Cloudy; 20*; gusts of about 15mph with some drifting.

Snowpack

At ridge line, drifted snow producing stiffer, tender slab. Below ridge line, boot deep penetration in soft slab scenario. CAUTION: Last 1/3 of pipe crossing very precarious at this point.

Avalanche

Cracking and propagation on test slope at ridge line. Several small loose snow slides on the Willow Headwall. Debris piles observed beneath each of these steep pitches.
