Snowpack

Snowpit dug on isolated Northerly facing patch of snow around 12,500 feet. Bare ground was observed in neighboring areas. HS ~ 50cm's and multiple crust/facet combinations observed throughout. Dry 2-3 mm facets sit above the ground. A dust layer was observed in the upper snowpack that likely formed between October and November snowfall.
