Hot hot hot. Totally blue skies all day. St Elmo weather station showing max temps of 52 degrees at 10,500 ft. No noticeable wind, even in the alpine.

Snowpack

Snowpack solidly frozen at low elevations this morning. ~20 cm melt-freeze crust at the parking lot. Broke down quickly
