Weather

Warm, overcast and very gusty - even at the valley floor.

Snowpack

Wind was actively loading lee slopes at ridgeline. Beeler cornice and overall snow cover looked typical for this time of year. No notably large or unusual avalanche debris from Beeler Grade. Snow on valley floor was sticky enough to warrant a quick lap of gob-stopper on skins.

Avalanche

Two large avalanches were noted from crossing highway from Lake Creek A and B. I estimate these ran during the Jan 9/10 cycle.
