H.S. 70cm, 25 cm new on 12-27 thru 12-28, bottom 20cm full formed depth hoar w/ 1 finger slab mid pack. wide spread cracks observed @ crown area. The R.P. stated that they travelled down Walshs trail and exited the ski area under the eastern boundary rope and proceeded off the area from that spot. It appears that they descended D'kine bowl then entered the second pitch where they triggered the avalanche. They reported 1 member travelled thru the pitch and the second rider triggered the slide and was carried down to where the pitch closes off in the trees. The 2 other riders stayed at the top of the path where they were joined by another skier not with their party and the 5 of them traversed left back to the Walshs trail.
