Weather

Calm and cold with FEW clouds. Temperatures warmed up steadily as we gained in elevation. Winds were strongest at the TH as they funneled down valley but still little evidence of blowing snow.

Snowpack

8-10" new snow in Red Lady Bowl. Surface form was new snow--dendrites (2.0-3.0 mm)--that were mostly in tact on S and SE aspects near and above TL . A bit of a MFC had formed on lower elevation solar slopes that were steeper than 25*. I estimate about 30 tracks in the bowl by 4 pm.
