Weather
Snowing S-1 through most of the day. Mostly calm winds near and below tree line with a few stronger gusts at ridge line.
Snowpack
About 30cm's of unconsolidated storm snow. Wind loading had previously accrued near ridge line and had a little more cohesion but was still fist hard. Dug a pit Near ridge line at 11,200, 35 degree slope, HS 120. The snowpack was mostly 4F below the storm snow and to the ground. ECTX, CTM "break" about 10cm off the ground. (CT test was done in the same column of snow as the ECT.) Some sloughing in steep terrain otherwise no other obvious sings of instability.
