Weather

Cloudy skies early this morning gave way to steady light snow by mid-morning. 2" additional by 1400. Storm total as of this morning 7.5/0.6.

Snowpack

No signs of instability and no observed slabbing during ski testing (N-NE at TL) and from cornice drops (E at TL). Recent new snow is falling on hard old snow surface and today's snow on a thin MF crust formed during brief sunny periods on Thursday. Minor wind deposits observed, but only along favored ridges. Triggered avalanches in very steep terrain at all elevations and aspects seems possible. Naturals unlikely.
