Weather

North of the Elk River the fog cover rolled away to nearly clear blue sky.Skies became slightly more clouded throughout the day but the entire zone north of Willow Creek Pass was above the fog line. Light winds all day, even on the summit.

Snowpack

On trail we observed wide spread surface hoar development in this zone from below treeline to above, any open area was fuzzy with new crystals.
