overcast skies early afternoon which broke up as day went on allow for periods of sunshine to poke through. Calm to light winds BTL, not drifting much of any snow except ATL and along the ridgelines. In theses areas there was moderate cross-loading from NW winds. Cool temperatures.
Snowpack
Avg HS of around 2m with areas as deep as 240cm. 20 cm of F storm snow from last event on top of firm (1F) mid-pack slab around 80cm thick. A thin layer (2cm thick) of buried facets 100-120cm down, over another firm 1F lower slab 80 to 110 cm thick. Only a very thin (~5cm) layer basal facets in thinner snowpack areas.
