Snowpack

North Windows, Hidden Valley, RMNP 11010ft N-NE, 20 degrees bearing 28 degree Slope 13:20 - 1/8/16 Test Snow pit performed in a likely spot where Isolated pocket of instability could be found. Snow Depth - 101cm Tests results - ECTP 12 SC. Fracture plane pen hard wind packed rounds sitting on Fist hard facets 2-3cm and short chained Depth Hoar3-4cm. Fracture depth @ 43cm up from the ground Test #2 - ECTP 22 SC - Second test result same pit, same Fx plane I do not see this result as representative of the overall snow pack. I see this observation as an example of the worse case scenario that could be found right now if a shallow isolated pocket was found. Thanks!
