Dirty on the hills

South east hill, west aspect. A skim of light snow on rain crust when we arrive but conditions turned to heavy snow and wind from the north east. Rapid loading covering our tracks in an hour. Dug a pit, 1m depth, snowpack varied rain crust, soft snow, windslab and some faceting at the bottom. Got come moderate20cm down to hard40cm down on compression test.Mostly breaks not planner. No result on extended column test.
