Skier Accidental avalanche from Disease Ridge at 2100m. A thin wind slab sitting on small 1mm faceted crystals. The faceted crystals were sitting on the crust from earlier in the week. Really just wanted to touch on the decision of the rider to move out into another wind loaded pocket above a cliff band. If more of the slab released the consequences would have been amplified. No shame in making mistakes and learning. Just be safe!
