It was a cloudy day, snowing S -1. It was cold, blowy, and it actually felt like winter.
Snowpack
95 centimeters total snowpack. From 85 to 80, four finger minus faceting rounds. From 80 to 65 fist hard facets about 1mm. From 65 down to 45, got four finger minus 1mm facets. From 45 to the ground, fist hard. 2 to 3mm depth tour. Contrast of thin slab on SE facing slope: crust facet sandwiches found, not a concern currently.
Avalanche
We dug near some recent human-triggered avalanches but did not observe any new activity.
