Today, we rode at the Onion. Around 11 a.m. this morning, a storm blew in with moderate easterly winds and moderate precipitation. The riding quality improved throughout the day as the snow fell. Riding quality was greatest in sheltered areas below treeline. Wind slab was forming at treeling and alpine elevations with the sustained easterley winds. There was about 15cm of snow accumulation throughout the day.
