Nice loop around Blackcomb taking in Cham 3, Spearhead Glacier, Phalanx via Stairmaster and then wrapping around to lower Poop Chutes. Amazing skiing in 20cm of new blower unconsolidated pow on S’ly aspects. No signs of instability here aside from sluffing in steep terrain. We largely avoided Lee slopes which showed signs of a soft new wind slab from the 12/29 storm. This was breaking 20cm down and was especially obvious along the top of Spearhead Glacier at ridge crest. Cloudy with sunny breaks most of the day with some graupel falling around 2pm.
