Thick crusts in the alpine, very sun affected. Small collections of wind pockets with nice snow. Snow rather heavy. We dug a pit and saw a weak layer around 30cm from the top of the snowpack. Slid with 25 taps and low energy Saw a small skier triggered avalanche around here: 51.66372° N, 116.34908° W around 20 tracks along this face and a medium sized avalanche at: 51.66789° N, 116.36372° W but it didn’t look like it was triggered by anyone touring.
