There was a good 30cm of dry, fresh powder over the crust layer underneath, creating a storm slab. But The avalanche conditions said they were moderate so we got pretty sendy in the new snow. Temperatures were sitting below zero at about -2 or 3 which made it a great day. I highly recommend getting out there as soon as possible.
