Did a “no excuse” block test (similar to Rutsch block) on an east aspect at 2150m and got a 3 result (deep knee bend) down 30 cm. Sudden planar failure. 25 degree angle. We skied well supported slopes. Snow stayed dry on east aspects. Nasty sun crust on south aspects.
