Cracking near Ursus Minor summit

On final slope approaching summit of Ursus Minor from E/SE felt a whumph and shoot cracks (see pics). Snow was very wind affected and crusty which made for difficult and unpleasant skiing all the way down the ridge until we made it into the treeline. Rocks seemed to be creating weak spots where snow was shallower and full of facets.
