Skied Engadine burn Dec 29. Many groups out. Reached the top of the normal open area where the majority of the tracks were. We pushed skiers left (south) to find fresh snow. Found an area within the burn that had slid to ground before we got there (sorry no photo). Crown maybe 16" and 25m wide. We pushed further skiers left into an untracked clearing. From the bottom of this clearing we skinned up on a more southerly aspect in untracked snow. Observed many significant whoomfs with cracks sometimes extending 10s of metres away from us.
