Group of 6 skiing low angle terrain down from a shoulder of Joffre. Regrouped on a bench when a size 1 or 1.5 slide was triggered on a small apron uphill. The sluff caught skiers by surprise — one skier lost balance and was knocked over downhill. Sluff covered to burial, enough to immobilize, and companions quickly uncovered. Skier uninjured, and group proceeded carefully to more protected terrain/to ski out.
