Today during an AST 2 we went up to around 2000m on Mt Macpherson and then skied Burnt Knob on the way down. We found about 25-30cm of storm snow was cracking and shearing or sluffing in terrain over 35 degrees, both naturally and with skier traffic up to size 1.5 at all elevations. We dug a snow profile at 1760m and did not have any significant shear results.
