Extensive wind slab formed in the alpine into the morning of January 23. We encountered lots of shooting cracks in the north facing gully on the west side of the pterodactyl. We got reactivity on both sides of the gully, with one slide propagating 30 or 40 metres. It did not step down and remained quite small due to the thin nature of the slab. No issues at treeline and below where there is still great skiing to be found for the more adventurous or those willing to put in the work.
