Ice climbing - haffner

Bailed on big objectives and went to Haffner today. 15-25cm of new snow on the ground, went for a walk and did quite a few hand shears in the general area. New snow was quite reactive with a distinct ‘pop’. Starting lightly snowing at 2pm, continued to snow on the drive home (5.30pm) and once at Castle Junction it turned to rain.
