Hero's Knob

Broken skys for most of the day at Hero's Knob. Calm day with very little traffic (unlike Tryst Lake which some 15 cars parked at the trailhead). Snowpack looks very stable with no natural avalanches in sight. Small sluffs could be seen just below the ridgeline in steep open terrain. The main slope was wind affected with breakable crust either forming or softening. Great skiing in the gully.
