Snowpack

Conducted a CT on a 30 degree SW slope at Approx. 1700 m. at 4 wrist taps there was a shear fracture about 10 cm down. Snow depth was 80CM. A thick ice crust 40CM down, and faceted snow under the crust all the way to the ground. Photo attached shows a fracture going to the left of the pit we dug. Noticed it just as we we're leaving. Made very conservative choices today.
