Chickadee Valley

Skied in the Chickadee Valley today. Light inversion (about -10C at the bc border but probably in the -5C range at 2000 m) and minimal winds with generally misty/overcast cloud cover. Lots of the major avi slopes on the east side of the valley had tracks in them and a few of the bigger ones have gone: notably the major path just before the Chickadee peak turnoff had recent debris to almost the valley bottom. Pretty big cornices were hanging over features on the west side of the valley. We skied moraine features and had little to no wind effect and about 20-30cm of low density snow up to 2250m, though more north/east-facing slopes were more wind affected. Several groups in the area today having a great time.
