Good ski conditions on polar / sheltered areas of pulpit 5. Dug a pit on a S/E aspect at ridge line. Snow depth was 170cms to ground. No results on a column test. Was eventually able to get a failure to ground after an addition 4 hits from the shoulder. Saw no signs of instability. Only one other group in the area all day.
