Engadine burn

Couldn’t find the 50-60cm of powder promised in Saturday’s forecast… But there was ~5cm on the expected thick solar crust. Easy to find bottomless facets below that. Weather was overcast with flurries on and off all day. Felt more mild than the ~-8 forecast. Several other groups in the area. Didn’t observe any signs of instability. Looking across the valley, noticed a large crown across one of paths on Tent Ridge, too far away to determine how recent. And a ripe cornice hanging over the adjacent slope. (See photos)
