Citadel Peak

Climbied citadel peak via the lower angled south ridge. The east ridge was too soft by the time I got there around noon. Good travel early in the morning but the over night freeze below 2400m was pretty weak. Wind exposed slopes froze better. Sank a few times through the crust especially in treed areas around 2250m after 11 am. A few cms fell by convective flurries around 4pm. Skin wax and scraper were very useful.
