Hero’s knob

Nice snow on hero’s today and it was well loved. South aspects have a big crust under about 10 cm of fluffy stuff while North faces are deeper (maybe 20-30cm above the crust?) at/above 2000 m. Fresh snow seemed well bonded to the crusts and we didn’t find much sluffing and little wind affect. Still some big cornices around! Area was well loved today with lots of cool features getting skied. Relatively warm day (-3C at 10am, 0C at 2pm at road level), winds picked up from NE in the afternoon.
