Bow Summit

Skied Bow Summit S glades today. 30-50cm new snow (230cm HS) & strong winds in the alpine. Intense periods of blowing snow, visibility akin to being in a ping pong ball. Storm snow interface failed CT10 un-clean "break" on compression test. However, no propensity to propagate on ECT. An unknown 2cm layer of small grain facets 70cm down was present, unreactive. No result on pit tests at this layer. Ski quality was spectacular. No shooting cracks or whumpfs. Ski pen 30cm, still absolutely puking snow out there as we left. Was -3 all day, temps stayed relatively constant throughout day.
