Phantom Couloir - springtime sniff around and carve

Went and checked out Phantom Couloir - another party skied is as we were transitioning to bootpack - sluffs were cleared by them. Snow was hardish, compact, but some fluff was found. Ogden North slope was ski-cut to release wet slabs (20 m across, 5 cm deep on hard layer), leaving the rest of the descent to be groomer-style carve fest. Good day out, UV was high descent from lake to parking was hardest part of the trip. If it snows in next few days, there is a concerning sliding suface on Ogden North slopes to keep in mind...
