Blue Canyon slush fest.

Warm temps in the forecast region today! 9c by 11am. With overnight temps staying warm, we didn’t get much recovery / re-freeze so sleds were sinking on well packed access trails by 9am! We pulled the pin and left the field as travel conditions deteriorated. By 10am we observed point releases on solar aspects that were turning into schmoo-alanches taking the whole snow pack with it. The Blue Canyon parking area is well plowed but the trail is whoops on whoops!
