Skiied Paul's Ridge today. Above the shelter it was windy (30-50 kph) all day and snow was quite wind-affected from W to SW winds all day. Some localized cracking of wind-packed snow below Round Mountain when setting the skin track. We avoided steeper N facing aspects due to wind loading. Steeper W aspects seemed to pose less risk. Powder was wind-packed and on less step slopes it was hard to build enough speed for good turns.
