Weather

Intermittent snow squalls through mid-day. Broken clouds becoming overcast. Then consistent heavy snow from 14:00 till well after dark. Winds were generally light.

Snowpack

N aspects below TL were generally shallow (HS 40cm) and faceted w/ light temp crust on the surface. </br> </br>Near TL NE found variable HS & presence of slabs. Some very firm slabs w/ boot pen of 0cm. @ 11,600ft HS100cm. Tests yielded Sudden Collapse (CTM (SC) @ 35cm) but no propagation with large columns (ECTN 26 @ 35) on Oct FC. Overlying slabs were +4F to 1F though showed signs of significant faceting. Seems slabs are loosing strength and becoming less reactive.
