Snowpack

Highly variable snowpack consists of up to 2' of mostly weak faceted snow with P and K hard wind slabs 6-12" thick on TL and ATL SW aspects. Some thin, deteriorating melt-freeze crusts are imbedded in the faceted layers on SW aspects BTL. Snow surface consists of facets and surface hoar up to 7mm BTL, TL and ATL, even on sun- and wind-exposed slopes.
