Weather

Spring skies with broken cumulus flowing from the WNW. We even had a few flakes fall out of the sky. More sun that clouds overall and when the sun was shining it felt hot.

Snowpack

The latest storm seemed to glue itself into place as it came in very warm and cooled off as the storm progressed. The one caveat is the dust layer(could be called straight up dirt on this one). All of the recent slides/sluffs are all running on this dust. Most have been R1D1 in size, but noteworthy as there is a chance for this layer to get buried with the upcoming weather event on Sunday/Monday. A lot will depend on temperatures with the new storm as well. Most aspects and elevations have a moist to wet surface on them, so if it freezes up it may lock up as well. Once it warms again, it'll become an issue.
