Dug a pit on an east facing aspect on the bench below the main bowl. Compression test revealed marginal bonding of the storm snow with the underlying snow, failure at this interface at 10 from the wrist, about 8 inches down. No further results, pried the rest out with a shovel and the column popped out on the dust layer, very clean. ECT failed at 6 from elbow across the entire column in the storm snow layer.
