Weather

Calm. Mostly sunny and clear. Air temperature at site was 36 degrees Fareinheit.

Snowpack

East facing aspect below ridgeline at 10,800 feet. Convex slope at 35 degrees. Height of snow: 168 cm, which is the same HS for nearby pit on 3/22/13. Snow surface temperature was 34 degrees fareinheit. Pack is essenetially isothermal, as temperature between 130 cm and ground was 30 Degrees farenheit. Three dust layers: 160-162 cm, 143-145 cm, 135-137 cm (see photos).
