TIME: 1200 WEATHER: Sunny, partly cloudy, with light winds from the southwest. high near 32*. no blowing snow, no precipitation

Snowpack

SNOWPACK: Settled storm snow that was dry in morning and became moist as the day proceeded. Above tree line on ridge tops was wind scoured and S-SE aspects on lee ward sides had a small wind crust layer about 5cm thick. There where no signs of instability but when performing CT and ECTs the Basal Facet layers where moderately active yet stubborn to trigger. The surface seemed to have a small layer of Melt/Freeze from yesterday's warming. See profile
