Overcast thin clouds letting in some solar radiation. Temperatures well above freezing. W-NW winds transporting snow on isolated peaks.
Snowpack
Moist snow on all aspects below treeline. On N aspect @ 10,500ft snow was moist 15cm down from the surface.
Avalanche
Avalanches from past 5 days on all aspects and elevations. Recent D2.5-D3 slides running near and above treeline due to significant wind loading. Many recent slides below treeline. Small features and terrain traps produced very large (up to D2.5) slides. Most slide below TL occurred on slopes +35°. Some of these may have been Wet Slabs.
