Weather

Clouds sat around the 13000 ft level for most of the day with scattered to at times broken skies. Cloud cover, a light ridgetop breeze and generally cooler temps kept heat from penetrating deeply into the snowpack.

Snowpack

All aspects and elevations froze nicely last night. There was a very supportable crust with a dusting of snow on top. Heating throughout the day only warmed top two inches of the snowpack and most areas stayed supportable to skis through 2 PM.
