Weather

Lightly snowing all day. Sun poking through high clouds. Winds transporting some snow off the peaks and covered up our tracks during the day.

Snowpack

~40 cm of new and windblown snow from the last week. ~15 cm of facets at the bottom of the snowpack near treeline. Below treeline the newer snow fell on bare ground. Couldn't find any depth hoar on N-E aspects in Mountain Boy, but didn't get above treeline. Upper snowpack near treeline has stiffened slightly with the wind (4F), so it is supportable in some places.
