Quite warm, T-shirt weather.

Snowpack

Around 5 inches of snow fell around Margy's Hut on 3/18 and was still cold and soft on N aspects, and sat on a 10 cm thick crust formed during last weeks warm-up. On NW-W-S-SE aspects, the new snow had formed a thick crust and was integrated into older crusts below below and supportable to boots. Very difficult to get even a pole handle in more than a few inches.

Avalanche

Lots of older activity noted in the area. Not much in the way of wet activity other than the obs noted here.
