Snowpack
BTL: patchy; frozen and supportable on boots in AM. Not so much by early afternoon. NTL: 20+ cm MF crust that was supportable on skis the whole time we were up there. Didn't encounter any trap door/ unsupportable snow. Shady NTL: dry, near-surface facets.
Avalanche
Several fresh-looking wet snow avalanches suggest danger peaking later in afternoon. 2 older crowns on ENE & NE facing slopes at/just below ridgelines. Approx. R3D2. Likely ran during early March cycle.
