Weather
Cold clear no wind aspect was flat we were taking off our skins and getting ready to descend.
Snowpack
Typical facets above and below a weak 2 ish inch crust the surface snow had slight crusting due to light winds. We were getting ready to ski when the snow collapsed under our weight. We skied the low angle trees facing ESE. We felt one more snow pack collapse at the bottom in another flat area. Basically and fyi on the hollow/unsupported snow in flat treed areas.
